People change so that we can learn to let go,
things go wrong so we can appreciate when they go right,
you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself,
sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together

Keisha White: Biography

Timeless’, ‘talented’ and ‘the epitome of beauty’ are the words to best describe United Kingdom (UK) native, Keisha White, who captured hearts around the world with the release of her debut album ‘Seventeen’, in 2005 at the age of 17.

Born in the UK to British parents of Jamaican decent, Keisha White is best known for her ground breaking single, ‘Weakness in Me’, that caught the attention of many around the world. The critically-acclaimed hit single, originally recorded by Joan Armatrading, was released in 2006 from her second album.

Effortlessly, she has the voice of an angel. The R&B/Pop singer-songwriter has her mother to thank for encouraging the pursuit of a career in music. Keisha proved she had what it took to be a star when she blew Warner Bros music executives away, after they invited her to sing for them at the age of 16. Her song choice “If You Should Lose a Good Thing’, by Aretha Franklin, won their hearts with its maturity. Captivated by her melodic voice, they wasted no time in signing her.

Keisha White became a star in her own right, when her second album “Out of My Hands” was certified gold, selling over 200,000 copies. Her success also won her a MOBO Award nomination for Best UK Female artist, where she performed on the night with Grammy Award-winning soul legend Sam Moore. She is no stranger to stardom, as in the past she has performed alongside other big acts, such as Black Eyed Peas, Angie Stone, Beverly Knight, Lemar, Craig David and Mis-Teeq just to name a few. She’s also performed some amazing collaborations on past records with well-known producers such as Scott Storch, Keith Harris (Black Eyed Peas), Ron “NFF-U”, Phantom Boyz and Robin Miller.

Many may argue that being away from the spotlight can be daunting for some celebrities, but for Keisha, a break from the spotlight meant working even harder, shaping up to be one of the world’s biggest R&B sensations, hailing from the UK.
